Hi! I'm the nitty-gritty details. Please read me before going ahead with a purchase.

Refund Policy

All deposits are non-refundable.

We do not provide refunds for change of mind.

We do not provide refunds if:

- you have found a different provider with cheaper services.

- you do not like the purchase or have no use for it.

- were made aware of a problem or quality issue with the product before purchasing.

- asked for a service to be done in a certain way that went against the advice of the business.

- the problem with a product was caused by the actions of someone other than the business.

A partial refund will only be provided if the photographer or editor see fault on our business's end.

We do not price match.

Cancellation Policy

If you have had a change of mind and would like to cancel your session booking altogether, unfortunately we do not offer refunds for your deposit. If you need to reschedule your photography session 24 hours notice is required. A rebooking fee may be charged with failure to do so.

Exemptions include: if extreme weather prevents the photography session from going ahead (e.g. hot weather, rain or thunder storms), or if you are unwell on the day.

No-shows on the day will forfeit their deposit.

Licensing

The photos that are taken during a session and provided in my packages come with personal use licensing. Extensive licensing (beyond personal use) must be purchased if photos and graphics are to be used or the purchaser has the intent to use them beyond personal use. If you would like to use or buy Isabella Sky Studios pre-existing photographs you will need to purchase a standard license, or for merchandise, an extended license.

Personal Use Licenses

This license allows you to use the photos for personal use only.

You may:

Post to your personal social media account (the post most not be affiliated with third party branding).
Print limited copies for personal use (e.g. personal wall art for your home, christmas cards).

You may not:
Reproduce the asset.
Include the asset in digital or physical marketing.
Re-sell the asset file or make copies.
Post the asset to a website or social media site with no limitation on views.
Share the unmodified asset.
Modify the asset.

Standard Licenses

This license allows you to use the photos for personal and commercial use.

You may:

Reproduce up to 500,000 copies of the asset in all media, including product packaging, printed marketing materials, digital documents, or software.
Include the asset in email marketing, mobile advertising, or a broadcast or digital program if the expected number of viewers is fewer than 500,000.
Post the asset to a website or social media site with no limitation on views.
Include the asset in some types of products, such as inside a textbook, as long as the primary value of the product is not the asset itself, and the product is not reproduced more than 500,000 times.
Share the unmodified asset with your employees and contractors who have contractually agreed to abide by the license terms.

With a Standard license, you may not:

Transfer the license to more than one employer or client, unless separately licensed for each.
Create merchandise, templates, or other products for resale or distribution where the primary value of the product is associated with the asset itself. For example, you can't use the asset to create a poster, t-shirt, or coffee mug that someone would buy specifically because of the asset printed on it.
Distribute the stand-alone file.

Extended Licenses

You may contact me for obtaining an extended license which will allow you to create merchandise or products for resale or distribution where the main value of the product is associated with the asset itself, such as a coffee mug or t-shirt.

With an Extended license you may not:

Distribute the stand-alone file.

Editorial License

May only be used in relation to events or topics which are newsworthy or of public interest, typically in newspaper or magazine articles, news blogs, or similar media.
May not be used for commercial purposes such as advertisements, promotions, endorsements, advertorials, commercial blogs, merchandise, etc.
May not be modified, except for minor adjustments for technical quality or slight cropping or resizing, while maintaining the editorial context and integrity of the original.
All uses must include the credit line shown on the site and contained in the IPTC credit line field of the file, for example “Isabella Sky Studios– @isabellaskystudios”.

Copyright

You, as the client, acknowledge that Isabella Sky Studios is the first and sole owner of all copyrights of the image(s). All Images and copyrights remain the exclusive property of Isabella Storm of Isabella Sky Studios. The only circumstance in which sole ownership does not occur is shared is when appropriate licensing has been purchased from Isabella Sky Studios and has been used within the limitations of the licensing contract. Please see licensing requirements above.

Images may be used by us for marketing, competitions, stock, publishing or any other purpose we may require them for.

Images included in our photography packages are licensed for personal use only and not to be sold or used for commercial purposes. Images produced by Isabella Sky Studios may not be used for commercial purposes or on-sold to a third party, unless appropriate licensing is purchased.

You, as the client, understand and agree that you are paying for personal use licensing only. The term of license begins from the date Photographer receives full payment of invoice.

Copyright metadata contained within any digital file may not be altered, or removed, without the express consent of Photographer.

You agree to the images produced at your session being posted online on Isabella Sky Studios website as well as by other industry related websites/blogs and social media sites.

Image Use and Model Release: I hereby give Isabella Sky Studios and Isabella Storm my permission to license the Images and to use the Images in any Media for any purpose (except pornographic or defamatory) which may include, among others, advertising, promotion, competition, image awards, marketing and packaging for any product or service and use, or for display within or on the Photographer’s website and/or studio. You also relinquish any right to examine or approve the completed product or advertising copy or printed matter which may be used. All rights to the Images belong to the Photographer. I acknowledge and agree that I have no further right to additional Consideration or accounting, and that I will make no further claim for any reason to Photographer and/or Assigns. I acknowledge and agree that this release is binding upon my heirs and assigns. I agree that this release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual. Copyright metadata contained within any digital file may not be altered, or removed, without the express consent of Photographer.

Property Release:

“PROPERTY” means the pet or property that is the subject of the Shoot. As owner or authorized representative of the Property and by signing this release, I give the Photographer and Assigns my permission to create and use the Images depicting the Property in any Media, for any purpose (excluding defamation and/or pornography) which may include, among others, advertising, promotion, marketing, promotion, competition, image awards, and packaging for any product or service or for display within or on the Photographer’s website and/or studio. I agree that the Images may be combined with other images, text and graphics and cropped, altered or modified. I agree that all rights to the Images belong to the Photographer and/or Assigns. I agree that I have received Consideration for the rights granted in this release. I acknowledge and agree that I have no further right to additional Consideration or accounting, and that I will make no further claim for any reason to Photographer and/or Assigns. I acknowledge and agree that this release is binding upon my heirs if applicable, assigns or any person claiming an interest in the Property. I agree that this release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual, and will be governed by the laws.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION:

Before any shoot takes place, a release form must be signed that stipulates that the copyright of the images taken during our shoot by our photographers belongs to us according to the Australian Copyright Act 1968. Additional travel costs are at the discretion of the photographer based on location and travel distance and will be advised prior should these apply.

Any images from the session are purchased additionally, charged at Isabella Sky Studios standard portrait product pricing. The client will be advised of price ranges. You are not permitted to alter any of the images received from the Photographer. Prior approval must be sought in writing prior to any submission of images to a third party, publication or competition. Credit must be given to Isabella Sky Studios when posting images online and on social media.

PHOTOGRAPHIC INTEGRITY and ALTERATIONS:

You, as the client, will not make or permit any alterations, including, but not limited to, additions, subtractions, or adaptations, with respect of the Image(s), alone or with any other material, without the prior express permission of Isabella Sky Studios. Normal reproduction adjustments for colour, contrast, brightness, sharpness, and cropping, are permitted.

GENERAL LIABILITY and RELEASES:

You, as the client, will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless, Isabella Sky Studios and their assigns, contractors, and representatives, against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, arising from your use of the Image(s).

Unless delivered to you by Isabella Sky Studios, no model, property, trademark, or other, releases exist for any Image(s). It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary permissions for uses that require any release not delivered by Isabella Sky Studios. It is your responsibility to determine whether any releases delivered by Isabella Sky Studios are suitable for your purposes.

In any event, Isabella Sky Studios's liability for all claims will not exceed the total amount paid under this Agreement.
